About InfoSAR Limited.
InfoSAR Limited is a small company based in Liverpool, U.K. We
specialise in providing consultancy, training and software in Synthetic
Aperture Radar (SAR) and related techniques.
The company was formed by our Chairman and Technical Director, Prof.
Chris Oliver, CBE, in 2002, aiming to make his SAR expertise and
techniques available to the remote sensing community. Many of these
techniques are based on material in his book "Understanding
Synthetic Aperture Radar Images". Subsequent research has led to
a variety of new image-understanding algorithms, developed with staff from
Infosar Limited and colleagues in academia.
Our experts have a broad range of experience covering image formation
including autofocus and signal-based motion compensation,
despeckling and segmentation, image understanding, and
application-specific processing. We also work with end-users who need to
integrate SAR into their remote sensing applications.
